Privacy policy
Latente measures how the site is used only if you accept. This page explains what is measured and how to change your mind.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Latente. You can write to brianrey3@gmail.com with any question about your data.
What we collect
Anonymous usage events, such as which article is opened, how far it is read or whether it is shared. For a search we keep only how many characters it has and how many results it returned, never the text. We build no profiles of people and use no cookies. Your browser stores only your choice about analytics.
Who processes it
Events go to PostHog, which hosts them on servers in the United States. PostHog acts as a data processor.
Legal basis
Your consent. Without it no measurement tool loads and nothing is sent.
How to withdraw consent
Use "Analytics preferences" at the bottom of any page. From that moment no further event is sent. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
How long it is kept
Events are kept for PostHog's default retention period and are used for no other purpose. Because they are not tied to an identifiable person, we cannot find or delete the events of one specific visitor.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us for information, access or erasure, and you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
